Sella & Mosca 1990 "Tarca-Ferra" Alghero (Sardinia) Cabernet Sauvignon/50%-Cannonau/50% ($12.99) Very dark garnet. Dark, plummy fruit aromas with notes of anise, caramel and molasses. Warm, ripe stone-fruit flavors, prunes and raisins; tart acidity and soft tannins. This is no youngster, showing some warm, old-red notes, but it's holding up well. U.S. importer: Palm Bay Imports Inc., Boca Raton, Fla. (Jan. 2, 1998) FOOD MATCH: A robust wine for a hearty meal; we matched it with lamb sirloin steaks braised in a spicy sauce with orzo.
