Weingut Undhof 1990 Riesling-Spätlese Kremser Kögl ($14.99) Clear pale-gold in color, this lovely Austrian Riesling shows pleasant aromatic hints of minerals and the "petrol" that's commonplace in older Rieslings. It's very full-bodied and flavorful, mingling grapes and slate and pine, clean and long. I continue to be amazed by the quality and style of Austrian wines, or at least those from this reliable importer, who seems to be responsible for 100 percent of the Austrian wines available here. U.S. importer: Milton S. Kronheim & Co. Inc., Washington, D.C.; a Terry Theise Estate Selection. (April 10, 1998) FOOD MATCH: Salmon poached with garlic and cilantro.
